Lab Furniture for Open Floorplans

FLX – LAB SERVICES WORKBENCH
Our FLX workstations offer the same welded components as our other workstations save for reinforced assembly points, allowing them to ship as flat pack units which saves our clients considerably on shipping costs. FLX workbenches are designed specifically to work with overhead service/conduit panels and units can be configured as back to back worksurfaces with only one set of uprights, perfect for a multi-workstation setup.
BASIX
Basix lab benches are often used as an endcap in a line of FLX workbenches and are ideal for a variety of purposes such as placement of common use lab machinery, testing mediums and supplies or for data entry. Basix benches can be configured as a sink workbench or equipped with variety of storage units under the worksurface.
RGX – ADAPTIVE CASEWORK
Our RGX is a truly unique laboratory casework offering. It’s modular and can be reconfigured to adapt to any setting, allowing for unprecedented flexibility in an open floor plan laboratory setting. Like our FLX line of workbenches, RGX bolts together easily for quick installation or takedown and can be expanded seamlessly with additional units should the need arise. It can also work with traditional casework. Any RGX modular casework unit can be configured to house a sink and plumbing fixtures to meet your lab’s requirements.

EPOXY RESIN COUNTERTOPS
Epoxy resins are a versatile class of synthetic thermosetting polymers known for their exceptional properties. They offer high mechanical strength, chemical resistance, exceptional thermal stability, low creep (maintaining their structural integrity under pressure over long periods of time), low toxicity and are UV resistant. Epoxy resin worksurfaces are also inherently hydrophonic, repelling water and many other liquids which makes them ideal for medical and clinical settings where testing may expose them to a wide range of chemical solutions.
PHENOLIC RESIN COUNTERTOPS
Phenolic resins are a type of synthetic polymer with a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. The polymer exhibits several properties that make it particularly ideal for medical and clinical laboratory worksurfaces, including thermal stability, chemical resistance, flame resistance, durability, low toxicity and dielectric qualities. Phenolic resin can be molded to fit just about any custom worksurface shape and Formaspace has used it extensively in the outfitting of several laboratory workstations, islands, lab carts and tables in North American clinical lab facilities.
