Manufactured in Austin, Texas
Our core workbenches and casework systems are built in-house at our 60,000-sq-ft Austin facility. We bend our own steel, weld in-house, laser-cut our own components, and powder-coat on site, with design and engineering teams working steps from production.
The result: shorter lead times, tighter quality control, and straightforward pricing.
Select product lines, including our lab seating, are supplied through trusted U.S. manufacturing partners rather than built in Austin. Every product we ship is still American-made.

A coordinated team, not just furniture.
Together, Formaspace and CFP provide a streamlined, collaborative approach to every project: precision, speed, and accountability, from first sketch to install.
CFP officially represents Formaspace across Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania, supporting life sciences, healthcare, industrial, and education environments from planning through installation.
Speed to Market
Reliable production timelines and consistent lead times keep projects on schedule. Faster installation means faster activation of your space.
Made in the USA

Verticals we serve.
Formaspace furniture is engineered for six core environments. Jump to the one that matches your project.
Benches that keep pace with the science.
The science, equipment, and protocols never stop moving. A bench built for one assay this year may need to support a different one next. Modular benches, steel casework, chemical-resistant worksurfaces, and integrated utility and data systems adapt as research needs change.

Office finishes carried straight into the lab
A 24-foot run of seamless stainless steel casework for the blood lab, plus steel casework, Basix™ benches, and Benchmarx™ workstations for the broader testing floor. Finishes were matched to the existing office furniture so the transition from on-carpet to off-carpet labs feels continuous.

A full wet lab in 2,000 sq ft
Fixed casework, fume hoods, and FLX modular workstations fit a compact footprint without compromising workflow. Lab-grade countertops, stainless sinks, eyewash stations, and pegboards support a small team doing high-stakes translational research.
Built for compliance, not just move-in day.
Pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and other regulated healthcare environments operate under strict requirements where contamination control, workflow clarity, and infrastructure reliability are continuously documented. Formaspace supports these demands with cleanable materials, organized storage, and modular workstations designed for repeatable performance.

Exclusive furniture provider for a major expansion
High-capacity mobile benches with continuous grommets let power, data, and effluent lines drop wherever the workflow needs them. Phenolic worksurfaces, integrated storage, and a custom waste cart round out a space built for cleanability and safe biological waste management.

A workbench engineered around one workflow requirement
CVS Health needed to weigh product directly at the worksurface. A custom stainless steel top with a precision cut-out integrates a scale flush with the bench, paired with a black laminate upper shelf and easily accessible monitor and printer housing.
Furniture built to last 3–4× longer.
Teaching labs and studios must support hands-on learning, evolving curricula, and a wide range of disciplines within the same space. Formaspace provides durable laboratory casework, adjustable workbenches, and reconfigurable workstations that let institutions adapt without full renovation, reducing replacement cycles and total cost of ownership.

One classroom, structured labs to open-ended projects
Modular RGX casework, custom island stations with integrated sinks, and adaptable pegboard systems let teachers reconfigure the room for structured labs one period and open-ended student projects the next.

56 project stations, 30,000+ sq ft of innovation space
The UT Design Studio gives students and corporate partners a place to create, design, build, and learn. Maple butcher block workbenches support collaborative design and hands-on experimentation across the whole floor.

450 workbenches, four levels revitalized
Formaspace revitalized four levels of Gund Hall, transforming an aging structure into a modern studio for students. 450 custom workbenches and 160 central spines with integrated pegboards preserve the natural light that defines the studio's iconic stepped roof.

Purpose-built for stable, controlled research
This animal lab was designed to provide enclosed areas for stable observation and scientific research. Upper and lower casework in an almond powder coat pairs with graphite phenolic countertops, while center Benchmarx™ benches in sapphire blue add clear wayfinding across the room.
Durable under impact, vibration, and daily use.
From production floors to material handling to aviation hangars, industrial environments demand workstations that hold up to continuous use while supporting precision tasks at the operator level. Formaspace builds heavy-duty steel benches, ESD-safe assembly stations, and modular storage engineered for manufacturing, assembly, and material handling alike.

Built for fast-moving production workflows
ESD-safe worksurfaces, integrated power and cable management, and ergonomic height adjustment give operators the tools to work efficiently while protecting sensitive components.

Six bench configurations, one visual language
Sheet metal fabrication, avionics, engine work, and hangar-floor operations each got their own configuration across the Basix™ and Benchmarx™ platforms. Heavy-duty gray frames, maple worksurfaces, and traffic-blue storage accents tie the program together.

Ergonomics tuned to repetitive, high-volume work
Workstations and storage built for the specific weights, workflows, and security needs of precious metals distribution, reducing operator fatigue and supporting consistent throughput across the workday.

Front-of-house to production floor, one vendor
Busch Vacuum Solutions brought Formaspace in to furnish its new Austin, Texas flagship, front of house to back. Heavy-duty Benchmarx™ assembly stations with integrated pegboards give operators organized, multifunctional workspaces, while upstairs, custom mobile pedestals and credenzas keep the corporate side just as cohesive.
Reconfigured as fast as the work changes.
Engineering and technology teams operate in environments defined by constant iteration. Formaspace designs for that pace with configurable engineering benches, ESD-safe worksurfaces, integrated cable management, and mobile workstations that support rapid reconfiguration without disrupting workflow.

$84M in construction savings
Custom condo racks, moving shelf benches, and ergonomic ESD workstations optimized both floor space and workflow against a $100M budget. Electric height adjustment and integrated ESD monitoring protect high-value R&D hardware.

Heads-down work and team problem-solving, one room
Benchmarx™ ESD workbenches support electrical testing and give engineers power and task lighting at the worksurface. A custom divider system routes power and cabling while doubling as a whiteboard on the collaborative side.

500 ESD workbenches, 18 days, start to finish
When GM and Ventec Life Systems partnered to produce critical care ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic, Formaspace received the request on a Sunday and had the first truckload on the road three days later. All 500 ESD workbenches, full ESD-safe worksurfaces, built-in parts bins, and integrated overhead lighting, were completed and shipped within 18 days to GM's 100,000 sq ft Kokomo assembly facility.

From prototyping to validation, one flexible lab
Working with Tangram Interiors, Formaspace furnished engineering and product testing laboratories for Belkin's global headquarters in Southern California. Custom height-adjustable and fixed-height ESD workbenches with integrated power distribution, overhead LED lighting, and grounding systems support every stage of product development, from electronics assembly and prototyping to validation and quality assurance.
Mobile, collaborative, and on-brand.
Corporate environments now support overlapping functions, from focused work and collaboration to prototyping and client engagement, within a single footprint. Formaspace delivers mobile workstations, collaborative tables, and custom conference pieces engineered for real use and designed to reflect each organization's identity.

A workspace that reconfigures as projects evolve
Weldmarx™ sit-to-stand workstations feature solid maple tops, integrated steel storage, and mobile caster bases that let teams reshape the room on the fly.

Custom Weldmarx™ desks for a converted can factory
A 1920s can-manufacturing facility became a media startup's West Coast office, designed by Parabola Architecture. Formaspace's Weldmarx™ sit-to-stand desk was customized with unique drawer pulls and mobile casters for easy rearrangement, with data and power integration built in. A clear coat over the frame shows off the authentic welds for an industrial look that matches the building's original character.

A hand crank, 1,000-pound capacity, and vintage casters
A heavy-duty steel base with a hand crank gives this conference table hydraulic height adjustability from 36 to 48 inches. UV-coated white-washed maple contrasts against the black base, rated to 1,000 pounds, with vintage spoked casters completing the industrial-era look.

A meeting table shaped like the brand
A custom guitar-pick-shaped conference table for a record label seeking a room that reflects its identity. The shape encourages inclusion, directs attention to the presenter, and reinforces the space's creative character.
