The Making of a Design Consultant

Imagine learning how to ride a bike for the first time from an instruction manual. You have one week to study for the test and by the end of the week, you are given a bike and expected to hop on, go to work, and get there on time. Sounds like you’re going to be pretty late and your clothes will reflect the attire of a Walking Dead cast member. How can you be so skilled with such hands off training?

Building Furniture Experts with Hands On Learning

At Formaspace we believe hands on training is the most effective way to become a furniture expert. Our Design Consultants spend their first week out in production getting their hands dirty and absorbing knowledge from team members who have been building your workstations for over 30 years.

Our newest Design Consultant, Josh Haschke, is getting in on the action from powder coating, welding, all the way to assembly. By the end of his first week, he will have personally assembled the Basix, Bench Plus, and Benchmarx products, felt the difference of every powder coat finish and work surface material, and attached every accessory to the workbenches. We believe knowledge is power so we equip our Design Consultants with resources that lead to expertise. When you tell Josh what you need, he can not only tell you how much it will cost, but he can also build it for you. Want a streamlined business furniture purchase? Just talk to our design consultants, they’re the industry’s top furniture experts.
